Our Dress Code
Uniforms are mandatory for all students in grades K-12. Preschool students do not wear uniforms. Uniform guidelines for Monday through Thursday are as follows:
Students will be given prompt notification if changes are made. In all cases, the interpretation of the policy remains with the administration. If you have any questions about the school uniforms, please contact the school office.
Spirit Day Attire
Friday is designated Spirit Day. An LCA t-shirt with uniform bottoms, or long or capri denim blue jeans may be worn. No leggings, jeggings, jeans with holes, or jean shorts are permitted. Athletes on an LCA team may wear their team shirt or uniform top with long denim blue jeans. Please note that students may be required to wear the LCA crested t-shirts, spirit shirts or sweatshirts for field trips, performances and special events.
Physical Education Dress Code (7th – 9th Grade Students Only)
Shirts for PE can be purchased from the Roar Store. Students may purchase navy or red basketball shorts wherever they want. Additional options may be available for purchase through the basketball team. Socks and athletic shoes must be worn during PE.
Where to Buy
There are three options for purchasing uniform and spirit day attire:
- French Toast: French Toast is LCA’s approved uniform provider. Go to frenchtoast.com/schoolbox/schools and type Lakeland Christian Academy into the “Search by School Name” to see the many uniform options. More information about ordering uniforms as well as a uniform checklist can be found in the French Toast How to Shop Flier, located in the Appendix of the handbook as well as online at lakelandchristian.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/HowToOrder.pdf.
- The Roar Store: Used uniforms and new spirit wear are available for purchase in the Roar Store. Options vary according to availability. The Roar Store is open during school hours and by appointment.
- Used uniform options include short-sleeve polos, long-sleeve polos, cardigans, fleece jackets, pull-over hoodies, zip-up hoodies, skirts, jumpers, shorts, and pants.
- New items include zip-up hoodies, spirit t-shirts, PE shorts, and PE shirts.
- The Roar Store also has may items to show off your LCA pride! These items include yard signs, bleacher seats, water bottles, bumper stickers, ornaments, pencils, pens, and erasers.
- Any Retail Store: Bottoms and navy cardigans may be purchased anywhere but must conform to the dress code guidelines above.
